Yonsei Institute for Planetary Health declares April 15 as Planetary Health Art Day

The Yonsei Institute for Planetary Health announced that April 15 will be designated each year as Planetary Health Art Day to expand environmental and health awareness among future generations. Planetary Health highlights how human health is closely connected to climate, environment, and ecosystems. The institute plans to move beyond academic discussion and build practical civic participation through the shared language of art. As the first project, "Planet in Heart 2026: Draw the Earth" launches as a nationwide art contest for elementary, middle, and high school students. The contest includes multiple awards, including the Minister of Health and Welfare Award. All participants can experience their artwork in a digital exhibition through DGDG Museum at POSCO E&C The Sharp Gallery from April 15 to April 19. Through this campaign, the institute aims to build a new model where students, families, and citizens share and amplify planetary health messages.
